Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before renting a vehicle from Do You America. By making a reservation or renting a vehicle from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility and Requirements To rent a vehicle from Do You America, you must:

   1. Be at least 21 years of age (or 25 years of age for certain vehicle classes)
   2. Possess a valid driver's licence and provide proof of identity
   3. Present a valid credit or debit card in your name for payment and security deposit
   4. Agree to our rental policies and meet our rental qualifications

Rental Period and Extensions The rental period begins at the time and date specified in your rental agreement and ends when the vehicle is returned to the designated location. Late returns may be subject to additional charges. If you wish to extend your rental period, you must obtain prior approval from Do You America, and additional fees may apply.

Rental Rates and Charges Rental rates and charges are based on the vehicle class, rental location, and rental period. Rates are subject to change without notice and may vary by season, demand, and other factors. All rental charges, including taxes, fees, and optional services, will be disclosed to you before you complete your rental.

Security Deposit and Authorization Hold A security deposit or authorization hold may be placed on your credit or debit card to cover any additional charges or damages that may occur during the rental period. The amount of the security deposit or authorization hold will be disclosed to you at the time of rental.

Vehicle Use and Responsibility You are responsible for the proper use and care of the rented vehicle during the rental period. You agree to operate the vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and in a safe and responsible manner. You are responsible for any traffic violations, parking tickets, or other fines and penalties incurred during the rental period.

Prohibited Uses You are prohibited from using the rented vehicle for:

1. Transporting passengers or property for hire
2. Engaging in any illegal activities
3. Off-road driving or driving on unpaved surfaces
4. Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other intoxicating substances
5. Allowing anyone not listed on the rental agreement to operate the vehicle

Fuel and Refuelling The rented vehicle must be returned with the same level of fuel as at the start of the rental period. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refuelling service charge will be applied.

Damages and Accidents You are responsible for any damages, loss, or theft of the rented vehicle during the rental period, regardless of fault or cause. In the event of an accident, you must promptly report it to Do You America and the appropriate authorities. You may be required to pay for any damages, repairs, or loss of use of the vehicle.

Insurance and Protection Plans Do You America offers optional insurance and protection plans to cover certain risks and damages. These plans are subject to additional fees and may have limitations and exclusions. It is your responsibility to review and understand the coverage and terms of any protection plan you choose to purchase.

Termination and Early Returns Do You America reserves the right to terminate your rental agreement at any time if you breach these Terms and Conditions or engage in any prohibited or illegal activities. Early returns may be subject to additional charges or fees.

Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Do You America harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the rented vehicle or any breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the rental transaction takes place. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Entire Agreement These Terms and Conditions, together with the rental agreement and any applicable protection plans or additional agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Do You America regarding the rental of the vehicle. No oral representations or statements shall modify or affect these Terms and Conditions.

Changes to Terms and Conditions Do You America reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most current version of the Terms and Conditions will be available on our website and at our rental locations.

By renting a vehicle from Do You America, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our customer service representatives before completing your rental.
